Requirements

Participant Directions

You, as a Participant will be required to do the following:

The Hacktara challenge is to build an output from the chosen problem statements by the Participants. A team may choose only one problem statement. There are a total of 8 problem statements to choose from. Each problem statement will be shared with the user scenario(s) for direction.

What to Submit

Following documents need to be presented to hold the Entry valid for assessment:
  • Abstract - 500 words
  • Assumptions taken into consideration
  • A flowchart of the novel idea which might include how the idea can be implemented. It can be in the form of block diagrams.
  • List of all the components that are going to be used like sensors, list out all the components and  justify their use.
  • Provide technical specification of all the components listed out.
  • A logic level design flow diagram/writeup with all the system inputs and outputs. It should also include how data is flowing across the system.
  • An operational flow diagram/writeup which must include all the steps as to when and what would happen on the application of input signals.
  • Live demonstration/presentation
  • Architecture and schematic layout of the peripheral circuits associated. (BONUS)
  • Practical and detailed validation steps that must be followed to verify the submitted solution/model. (BONUS)
  • Total estimated cost of the entire project (BONUS)
  • Entries for consideration can take the form of finalized products or documented concepts, bundled together in a singular compressed file.
  • Entries must be exclusive and not previously published or submitted elsewhere.
  • Entries to be submitted by 6:00 pm IST on September 9, 2023. Entries arriving beyond the stipulated deadline will not be deemed eligible for assessment.
